The Board of Directors for Monitor Cooperative Telephone Company is elected by the members of the Cooperative, to perform the duties of managing the business and affairs of the cooperative, set out in the bylaws.
Each member of the board is elected to serve a term of three years. A regular meeting of the board is held monthly. Each board member carries the responsibility of making decisions with respect to the rights, properties, and interest of the members of the cooperative.

BARBARA IVERSON – CHAIR 503-634-2672 Barbara began serving on the Board in 2005. She has held the position of Vice Chair and is currently Chair of MCTC. She has lived in the Monitor area for 50 years, and is active in the local family businesses of Iverson Family Farms, Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm, and worked with Van Veen Nursery. Barbara has a BS in Horticulture from OSU. |

Kirk joined the Monitor Cooperative Telephone Board in 2008 as Secretary/Treasurer and is now serving as Vice Chair. Kirk retired from the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture, Marion County, as County Executive Director. He has lived in the Monitor area for 12 years, and has business experience in rentals, farming, and government. |

JOHN ANNEN - SECRETARY/TREASURER 503-634-2589 John has been a Board member for Monitor Cooperative Telephone in several positions, including Chair, since 1995. John presently serves as Secretary/Treasurer. He has lived his entire life in Monitor, and has been involved with farming in the area. John owns and operates a local hop farm. |

DEREK PAVLICEK -DIRECTOR 503-634-2210 Derek previously served 11 years as a Board member for Monitor Cooperative Telephone as Director and Vice President. Derek has lived in Monitor for 20 years. He was appointed by the Board to serve as Director in 2011. |

DEAN AUGUSTUS – DIRECTOR 503-634-2730 Dean began serving on the Board for Monitor Cooperative Telephone in the early 1990’s and returned to the Board in 2000, currently serving as Director. Dean retired from lumber sales, and owned and operated a lumber and hardware business. Dean has been a resident of Monitor for over 36 years. |

Geri became the General Manager/President in 2001. |
